Steamed bun shop

I ordered the buns and beef burger and it wasn’t too bad for a takeout spot. The lady working there was super friendly and nice!The buns don’t stick to your teeth, but the filling can seem bland. For me personally, I liked the pork filling as it was a tad sweeter than the beef. There isn’t as much filling in the pork than the beef, but for an affordable price, I can’t complain.For me, the burger was very flavourful and almost too salty. There was a lot of bun and meat, but the crispy bun was missing.I’d go here to support a local business, but would probably try another bun spot.

We ordered three buns and a cucumber salad and a cake(matcha). And it was good for us. Reasonable price, and excellent waitress. She does her best to comfort us. Wish to visit again

The baos here are good, the skin and filling are very nice. It's a very simple shop and they have a small menu, it's more of a snack place imo. The price for what you get is good value. Really what gets the stars though, is that the customer service is exemplary. The sweet lady who runs the store went above and beyond to give us the best service and was so nice.

This place is so good!! The pork steamy bun sandwiches are delicious-perfect buns with perfect pork. Cucumber salad is light, refreshing and flavorful. The tea drink is so so good. It's a lot of money up front for what is not a whole lot of food but you forget about that part as soon as you start eating and quickly want go back for more. Place also looks really beautifully decorated and the service is amazing.

Lovely sibling-run gem serving Filipino fusion food featuring a delicious Filipino-Chinese bao in a cozy minimalist spot on Rachel. You've got Charles and William in the back creating and cooking tasty bites and Rachelle up front serving and chatting with the locals and passerby-ers. The place is modern Asian cuisine done well and there's a lot of promise moving forward. They'll be expanding to the spot next door soon and it sounds like they're going to bring their concept to the next level.

Delicious buns and salad. Actually more filling than expected.Service is excellent. They took the time to chat with us which is always appreciated from a small neighbourhood food joint.The decor is simple and elegant. It's cheery even on a rainy day.The only downside would be the price but given the quality of the food, definitely worth it.Will be coming back.Keep up the great work!

Was just driving along 4th street on a lazy saturday night when I stumbled into this new establishment. I didn't know what to expect going in but I was absolutely blown away by the food. BEST CHINESE BUNS IN CALGARY.The restaurant was really busy when I went in but I managed to grab a seat. What stands out about the food here is the generous portions of succulent, quality meat that are stuffed into perfectly steamed buns. I've been to a lot of chinese restaurants in my life and none have matched the quality iBaoza seems to produce, not to mention the extremely affordable price.Must try: chinese hamburger and pork bao
